Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the filters regularly to ensure optimal performance. Dirty filters can degrade washing results. To clean, open the door and remove the lower basket. Unlock the filter system using the handle on the microfilter and remove it for cleaning.
Use Neutral Detergents
Ensure only neutral detergents are used. Avoid abrasive products, scouring pads, or solvents like acetone and trichloroethylene to prevent damage to the interior.
Run Maintenance Wash
Every three months, run a 65°C wash program without dishes, using detergent. This helps maintain the machine's cleanliness and efficiency.
Check Door Seals
Regularly clean the seals around the door and the detergent and rinse aid dispensers with a damp cloth to prevent build-up and ensure proper sealing.
Correct Levelling
Ensure the dishwasher is correctly levelled for optimal operation. Adjust the feet as necessary to ensure the door seals properly without obstruction.
